Guardiola is concerned about the psychological effect that three defeats in a week might have on his players as they look to secure the trophy.
Manchester United stars played loud music in the dressing room after recording a 3-2 victory in the Manchester derby against City.
The Cherries sit just two points off the magical 40-mark and they are unbeaten in their last three league games thanks to two draws (Crystal Palace and Watford) and a win over West Brom.
And manager Pep Guardiola says the Argentina forward could not train after that incident, but pushed himself in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue City's European campaign in the final 24 minutes of the second leg against Liverpool.
"He played the last 20 minutes [against Liverpool] and after the game said: 'I can not run, I have a lot of pain, I can not run.' I don't know about Swansea [City, on Sunday-week] if he'll be ready but hopefully for the last games if we need him and especially for the World Cup". When I heard pundits and fans in November they said it's all done, it's impossible for City to drop points.
"After that game I don't know if he'll be ready for the Swansea game (on April 22). But in football it can happen". "We handled the pressure - the good, the bad situations - the whole season".
There were encouraging signs in the 3-2 defeat to Arsenal last Sunday and it was good to see Shane Long on the scoresheet for just the second time this season, but Mark Hughes' side still came away empty-handed and time is running out to pull off a great escape. "We tried to reach the semifinals [of the Champions League], to win the Premier League", Guardiola said.
'It would be better but I am who I am, ' said Guardiola. Real Madrid, years ago, lost six games and didn't win the league.
"Two years ago, never before, in the National Basketball Association finals one team recovered from 3-1 down". Cleveland Cavaliers won against Golden State Warriors 4-3.
"It's in hour hands, that is the good advantage". A team that included players such as Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, David Beckham, Iker Casillas and Raul lost six of their last seven games to finish seven points behind Valencia having led by 11 points at one stage. "Congratulations to the opponents if they beat us".
While Guardiola admitted Sergio Agüero's ability to play again this season is in the balance because of a knee problem, the Spaniard said the 32-year-old David Silva may appear less next year.
Ronaldo scores wonder goal as Real thrash Juventus
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo made 152 Champions League appearances, while Casillas played 171 games. Zlatan Ibrahimovic doesn't know what all the fuss over Cristiano Ronaldo's latest soccer feat is about.
