Astrophysicist Hugh Ross of the Christian apologetics group Reasons to Believe has taken issue with the claim of notable British theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking that nothing existed before the Big Bang. Adding more, he informed that, Theory of Relativity asserts space and time from continuum curved by the matter and energy in it and ordinary real time are replaced by imaginary time.
In a lecture on the so-called no-boundary proposal, Hawking wrote: 'Events before the Big Bang are simply not defined, because there's no way one could measure what happened at them.
Professor Hawking once again mentioned the dangers humanity faces with the development of artificial intelligence and the need to find a new planet for the continuation of the human species. For instance, he explained how the South Pole obeys the normal laws of physics but indeed there is nothing in South of the South Pole.
This subatomic ball known as a singularity (not to be confused with technological singularity in which artificial intelligence will catch up with people).
Essentially, 'there was never a Big Bang that produced something from nothing. However, regardless of how complicated a question like where did it all come from, there can always be a very "simple answer" like "Nothing simple as that". According to the theory, the universe began with a small singularity which occurred over 13.8 billion years ago into the universe that is known at present.
Among the many scientific theories about the origin of the universe, the most popular one is that of the Big Bang, which posits that an explosion about 13.8 billion years set the expanding universe in motion.

Einstein famously said that asking what existed before the Big Bang was akin to asking what's north of the North Pole. Time is a "four-dimensional curved surface similar to the surface of the Earth, but with two dimensions".
Physicist Stephen Hawking sits on stage during an announcement of the Breakthrough Starshot initiative with investor Yuri Milner in NY.
According to Mr. Hawking, "the boundary condition of the universe is that it has no boundary".
If we were to move back in time from the Big Bang, the "arrow" of time shrinks infinitely as the universe becomes smaller, never reaching a clear starting point.
In an interview with The Christian Post on Monday, Ross responded that while Hawking was correct that "time has a beginning", nevertheless "the beginning of time demands a Causal Agent capable of creating time independent of time".

'Exceptionally cold' weather forecast for next week
It's as if someone opened the freezer door in North America's kitchen, and let all the cold air drain out toward the midlatitudes. Some places, particularly along exposed coastal areas, will also see blustery conditions and wintry showers of sleet and hail.
