Reports of active shooter at California veterans home

Officials gave an update on the situation unfolding at a veterans home in Yountville on Friday.

Police said at least 15 to 20 shots were fired in Building G, starting about 10:30 a.m.

The gunman is believed to be a member of The Pathway Home program for military veterans with emotional trauma, according to the Napa Valley Register. Local TV station KTVU is reporting that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is sending a SWAT team to negotiate with the shooter and agents are already at the scene.
