Wales coach Warren Gatland has recalled Dan Biggar, Leigh Halfpenny and Liam Williams to his starting XV for the Six Nations clash with Ireland Saturday.

Owens, who had an excellent tour of New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions previous year, told the Guardian: "I don't think he gets the credit for what he has achieved". However, it is his comments about Ireland's half-back pair which will garner the biggest headlines, coming a year after Sexton had to endure a head injury assessment injury against Wales in Cardiff.

"Ireland have got an excellent kicking game and their nine and 10 combination is probably one of the best in world rugby, but we've got to attack them", said Gatland, who takes on his former team for what will be his 100th match in charge of Wales this weekend.

"It is the first week we have had everyone in the "green" in terms of availability which is a nice luxury to have and a positive ahead of what is a very important test match against a very good Ireland side".

Moriarty, who overcome back problems suffered on the 2017 Lions tour to start Wales' Six Nations win against Scotland and the defeat by England, missed Gloucester's game at the weekend because of a shoulder problem sustained at Twickenham.

He has plenty on his agenda before then, including a continued interest in this season's Six Nations title race, while the Ireland fixture also sees him up against a country he coached between 1998 and 2001. It's a huge credit to him and we've always got on well and had that mutual respect even before the Lions tour.

Gareth Davies says Wales are confident they can secure a bonus-point win against Ireland on Saturday after the return of some of their key players. You've got to keep your discipline against Ireland. Our line-speed defensively has got to be good.

"We've got to attack them. They are a quality side that are hard to break down".

"I think we are playing some really good stuff now". "

"We don't want to use the fact that we have won two (Games this year) to try build up to a false sense of being complacent, where we're certainly not.

"We have to win the next game and keep winning, but bonus points have been crucial for us".

Asked what advice he'd give to any young coach, Gatland said: "Do your best to deal with the media as positively as possible".
