How 17,000 petitions helped deliver votes for women
The Representation of the People Act, which went into force on February 6, 1918, extended voting rights to all men over 21 and women over 30 who owned property or were graduates voting in a "university constituency".
Three other historic bills will also go on display: the Parliament (Qualification of Women) Act 1918, which allowed women to become MPs, the Equal Franchise Act 1928, which gave women complete voting rights parity with men, and the Life Peerages Act 1958, which allowed women to become life peers in the House of Lords.

Mr Corbyn told his top team that the convictions of suffragettes "were politically motivated and bore no relation to the acts committed".
Addressing MPs, Corbyn revealed that "Labour in government will both pardon the suffragettes and give an official apology for the miscarriages of justice and wider persecution they suffered".
"As we remember the heroic campaigners of the past, who fought to include the voices of all citizens in our public debate, we should consider what values and principles guide our conduct of that debate today", she said.
The Suffragettes were members of women's organisations in the late-19th and early-20th centuries which championed for women to have the right to vote in public elections.
The Women's Equality Network is marking the centenary by celebrating 100 Welsh women.

Her connections proved useful for the movement. A Sikh princess, Sophia Duleep Singh, threw herself in front of the prime minister's auto. She was a trained artist and designed numerous group's posters, leaflets and logos.
Yet the tides of the Suffrage movement are still surrounded in misinformation and confusion, with several leading members and activists in the movement identifying as lesbian, bi, or simply as women who were attracted to other women.
And Labour is holding its shadow cabinet meeting at the Museum of London, where a large "Votes for Women" exhibition has just opened.
Critics say her cautious approach has increasingly left her hostage to the deep divisions among her ministers, especially over Brexit, with some concerned the European Union has now gained the upper hand in talks.
Best known as the suffragette who was fatally injured at Epsom racecourse by the king's horse, Davison had a reputation as one of the most daring champions of direct action in the WSPU.
At least the suffragists and suffragettes were united in their ultimate goal. Lady Constance Lytton proved that class and image still meant something in this movement; during one spell in prison she cut her hair short, made herself admittedly "uglier" and changed her name to Jane Warton. Bahrain changed their laws in 2002, followed by Kuwait in 2005.
