You Will Soon Be Able to "Snooze" that Oversharing Facebook Friend

A new feature being rolled out by Facebook could help with that.
Facebook has actually been testing the snooze option for a few months, though the company seems to have made some tweaks to the feature since it was first debuted.
You can temporarily mute friends, groups and brand pages on Facebook.
I have some friends on Facebook whose posts sometimes greatly annoy me.
If you're familiar with the current Unfollow / Hide tool that let you permanently remove a user or page's updates from your feed without unfriending them, you'll find that this new Snooze feature is somewhat similar. Snooze offers a temporary solution instead of a more permanent one.
You can also use the feature to mute specific groups.
The new feature which is now rolling out will be available by clicking the option button (an arrow) at the top right of the post, and selecting the new Snooze option. "It is eroding the core foundations of how people behave by and between each other". Facebook has announced some changes and the most important of them is probably the new "Snooze" button.
