Xiaomi is hosting contests for the No 1 Mi Fan Sale that includes contests, namely a fun Christmas-themed game called Sneaky Santa where you collect and steal ornaments to complete a Christmas tree, upon which you can redeem it for prizes. The sale will start today at midnight i.e. 20th December and will go on till the midnight of 21st December.
Promoting its "Made In India" product Mi Power Bank 2i, Xiaomi is giving around Rs. 500 discount on the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i and the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i on Wednesday and will be available at Rs. 1,499 and Rs. 799, respectively.
During this sale, Xiaomi is camping off a Sneaky Santa game where you can get a chance to play and win its newly-launched affordable smartphone Redmi 5A. Consumers will have to head to Mi.com to book the smartphone which is a limited edition and will be available until stock lasts. You will be able to purchase a wide range of Mi and Xiaomi branded smartphones during the sale period. Xiaomi also plans to not raise smartphone prices after the government has recently increased the import duty to 15 percent from 10 percent. Last but not the least; Xiaomi's official website also reads that Mi users will also be liable to get early access to Mi smartphones at discounted prices. Interestingly, the specifications of the Redmi 5 Plus also matches with the leaked specifications of the Redmi Note 4 successor.
The company is offering a flat 30% cashback up to Rs 4,000 on payments through MobiKwik.
That's not all, the newly launchedRedmi Y1, and Y1 Lite will be available for Rs 6,999. The Redmi 5A and Redmi Y1 smartphones can be bought starting at Rs 4,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively. The Mi MAX 2 with a mammoth-sized battery will also witness a discount of Rs 2000 and it will be available for Rs 12,999.
If you are looking for a portable power bank to charge your smartphone, the Mi Power Bank with its massive 20,000mAh battery is a good option. Xiaomi is also making available the Redmi 4 at a discounted price of Rs 1,000, which means the Redmi 4 will be available at Rs 8,499. As for discounts on other accessories, the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i will be available at Rs 1,499, down from Rs 1,999.
