LG V30+ with OLED FullVision display lands in India for Rs. 44990

LG V30+ with 6-inch OLED display 32-bit Hi Fi Quad DAC & dual cameras launched at Rs 44,990

LG has priced it at Rs. 44,990, which is a significantly lower price than other flagships including the Galaxy Note 8, which is just a couple of thousands short of Rs. 70,000.

At this price, the phone is a really impressive deal to grab. We take a closer look at LG's new V30+. They have a history of doing this. It has a 6-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) OLED FullVision display with a pixel density of 538ppi and HDR10 support. It comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection in the front and rear.

The Snapdragon 835 chipset that powers the LG phablet is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. It also includes an internal storage of 128GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.


The LG V30+ runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with LG's UX 6.0+ skin on top. You can expect Android Oreo update next month.

LG V30 Plus comes with dual camera setup, it features a 16 Megapixel primary and 13 Megapixel secondary rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Laser Autofocus, EIS, PDAF and OIS 2.0.

Front camera: On the front, the V30+ sports a 5-megapixel camera with a "wide" 90-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The body is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The phone has passed 14 categories of the MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test making it compliant for military operations. The device also includes a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by Bang & Olufsen along with earphones manufactured by B&O Play. It offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, NFC and USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible). The phone is also Qi-compliant and thus supports wireless charging. The device is now up for pre-bookings and will be going up for sale on Amazon India from December 18 and has been priced at Rs 44,990. As a part of the first sale, LG is offering a free one-time screen replacement worth Rs 12,000, a free wireless charger worth Rs 3,000 approximately, and in-app purchases worth Rs 6,400 for the Beat Fever app.
