Atlus Announces Catherine: Full Body for PS4 and PS Vita, Will Introduce a Third Girl

No details have emerged with regard to the launch window, Catherine Full Body is expected to release on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, most of the information will arrive on December 22 through a livestream already announced by Atlus. Featuring new characters, scenarios, endings, and gameplay styles, Full Body looks to be the ultimate Catherine experience. As a collaboration between Atlus and Studio Zero, the new game will feature plenty of extra content such as new endings, episodes, "sexy events", and anime cut scenes.

Kotaku's report cites Famitsu in revealing that the videogame, which has protagonist Vincent conflicted between women named Catherine and Katherine, will have a third new Katherine named "Rin".

Explore the pleasures and horrors of love as Vincent, a man with a hard choice to make: marry his longtime girlfriend Katherine or move on to the incredible blonde he just woke up next to-named Catherine! She'll introduce new story elements, apparently, and she's described as "a very straightforward and gentle character", which is interesting since Catherine is most certainly not a gentle game.


It's been a long standing rumour that Catherine would be getting a remake or a sequel to the cult classic on the PlayStation 3. According to Persona Central, the game will be titled Catherine: Full Body. The online battles, meanwhile, were added as a response to the game competitive community that unexpectedly developed around Catherine.

Catherine: Full Body has only been announced for Japan so far, so there 's the chance that the game will also hit other platforms in the West.
