Tillerson 'Moron' Comment Followed Trump's Call for Massive Nuclear Buildup: Report
Two-thirds of them say President Donald Trump's war of words with the isolated nation's leader is making the situation worse.
President Trump threatened NBC's broadcasting license on Twitter Wednesday for running critical stories about him.
Trump's comments, the officials said, came in response to a briefing slide he was shown that charted the steady reduction of USA nuclear weapons since the late 1960s.

The article said after Trump saw the slide he said he wanted a bigger stockpile of weapons, not the bottom position on the downward-sloping curve.

If implemented, Trump's proposal would "make Americans less safe, could cause another nuclear arms race, and would inflame tensions with North Korea and other countries", Martin concluded.
He followed up nearly immediately with his veiled threat to strip NBC of their licence.
The license Trump refers to is that granted by the Federal Communications Commission.
"The insanity and folly of this of course can not be overstated", the director for Disarmament and Threat Reduction Policy at the Arms Control Association, Kingston Reif, tweeted in response to the NBC report.
