Good Luck boys, make us proud!

The Mission 11 million, a football initiative aimed at taking the game to almost 15,000 schools in 37 cities across the country, was set rolling by former sports minister Vijay Goel and All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Praful Patel at the Nehru Stadium here earlier this year. The hosts are placed in Group A alongside USA, Ghana and Colombia.

Last time in Chile in 2015, US failed to emerge from the group stage for the first time since 2001.

The US Soccer Federation had named 17 players who were part of the team that played in the qualifying tournament - 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship in April - in which it had finished second. In addition to all this, this year's tournament will be setting a record for the farthest distance between two venues in the event's history. The company will also provide with few coaches across the 6 cities (Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kochi and Goa).
