Buccaneers vs Vikings Schedule

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum throws a pass during the second half of an NFL football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday Sept. 24 2017 in Minneapolis

The Bucs had the ball in Vikings territory early in the fourth quarter, but that momentum ended when Winston was intercepted by safety Andrew Sendejo. Diggs caught passes for 47 and 59 yards, the two longest of his career.

Minneapolis, MN- Quarterback Case Keenum was ineffective last Sunday while taking the place of an injured Sam Bradford. Bradford did not play in the Vikings 26-9 loss to Pittsburgh last week, and told reporters that his status for the game against Tampa Bay will depend on how his knee responds during the week.

Winston went 28 of 40 for 328 yards and tossed touchdown passes to tight end Cameron Brate and DeSean Jackson for Tampa Bay (1-1).

The Bucs' stumble is much like previous year, when Tampa Bay won an impressive opener against Atlanta, only to take a 40-7 loss at Arizona on the road, with multiple injuries that carried into the rest of the seasn.

In rushing, Dalvin Cook led the way for 64 yards in 12 attempts while Jerick McKinnon posted 16 yards in three attempts. The Buccaneers were without three defensive starters in CB Brent Grimes (shoulder), LB Kwon Alexander (hamstring) and DT Chris Jones (illness). Laquon Threadwell had 33 yards in three receptions. In defense, Minnesota allows 339.5 yards and 22.5 points per game.

With Bradford limited during the week and missing practice on Friday, Keenum got more time to prepare for his second start and it showed.

Buccaneers take on Vikings in a 2017 National Football League regular season action this Sunday.

Shadowed by Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes, Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had a quiet game with seven catches for 67 yards. Scores and Results of Vikings vs Bucs NFL game is available here after the game.
