Taylor Swift Testifies In Court Over DJ Who Allegedly Touched Her Inappropriately

Lawsuit tossed in Taylor Swift trial but ordeal isn't over

His lawyer, Gabriel McFarland, presented the photo that was taken to jurors.

"Baldridge also repeatedly asked Mueller if he could grasp "any reason, incentive or motive" for Swift to make up the allegation or be involved in two years of litigation".

"It was a definite grab, [a] very long grab", Swift, 27, said in court Thursday.

"Resolution of this counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms".

"That guy", she added, pointing to Mueller. They drifted apart late in 2013, but Melchor says they remained friends.

'This is what happened, it happened to me, I know it was him, ' said Swift, who was 23-years-old at the time of the incident.

The questioning became abrasive at times, Swift reportedly remained resolute in her account of the event.

The photograph shows Swift, Mr Mueller and his then-girlfriend, Shannon Melcher, all posing together.

Looking at the photo, McFarland asked Swift why the front of her skirt did not appear to be lifted. Fighting back tears as she spoke in court, she recalled, "I knew what happened, I heard it from her, I heard it from my daughter's mouth". In the picture, the trio are stood side-by-side and Mr Mueller's right hand is hidden behind the musician.

He described a long and close personal and professional relationship with Mueller.

Swift counter-sued, claiming sexual assault and seeking $1.

The photographer at the meet-and-greet, Stephanie Simbeck, testified Thursday that she also witnessed the alleged groping. According to People, Andrea Swift testified that the singer was "really shaken, she was humiliated, she was horribly embarrassed".

The final testimony on Wednesday came from Frank Bell, Swift's liaison with radio stations.

Yesterday, Swift made a rare public appearance, taking the stand in the courtroom to defend herself and her honor.

A picture of Swift, Mueller and his girlfriend is a key piece of evidence in the lawsuit - with lawyers for the singer claiming it is "damning" proof that the presenter touched her backside. He's seeking up to $3m, saying the allegation cost him his job and reputation. "But in the larger discussion about sexual assault, as we've seen, justice can be selective".

Swift's security guards threw Mueller out of the Pepsi Center and told him he was banned for life from Swift concerts.

Swift said a photo of the alleged assault, sent by a Swift liaison to Robert Call, the general manager of the radio station Mueller worked for, showed the exact moment that Mueller groped her. Swift also says that her suit is less about her and more about speaking out for women who are sexually assaulted and don't feel comfortable coming forward.

Her defiant, hour-long testimony came four days into a rapidly moving trial that is scheduled to last almost two weeks.
