A teenage driver lost control of her vehicle while she was live streaming on Instagram and recorded part of the crash that killed her younger sister in California.

The accident killed 14-year-old Jacqueline Sanchez, who was expelled out of the auto as it crashed.

Obdulia Sanchez, who calls herself a former model and a "psycho" on Facebook, and whose profile picture shows her holding a gun, is accused of streaming the video on the social media platform before, during, and right after the crash.

Sanchez can be heard in the video saying "I (expletive) killed my sister, OK?" A video before the crash showed her singing and dancing along with music as she drove while the two passengers were not wearing seat belts.

Gloria and Nicandro Sanchez said their lives are ruined by the tragedy.

"I don't know how to feel". I'm sad infant. I'm a hold it down'. I don't ... care though, I am holding it down.

The Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke says the driver overcorrected, causing the auto to swerve across lanes and roll over into a wire fence and then into a field. Hernandez said she knew about Obdulia Sanchez through social media, but they never met in person.

Obdulia Sanchez was arrested and booked at the Merced County Jail, charged with DUI alcohol/drugs causing bodily injury and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

Family members confirm to ABC30 in Fresno the video was shot by Obdulia Sanchez.

"She's not really thinking through anything", Sophy said.

Stockton resident Mary Hernandez said she saw the video there and re-posted it. They said Jaqueline Sanchez, was supposed to celebrate her quincenera Sunday.

Relatives have set up a GoFundMe page to pay for the funeral of Jacqueline Sanchez.

"At first I was skeptical, but the more people reached out to me, then her cousin confirmed it was her".
