"The government is under pressure by deputies because it allowed the Israeli killer to leave", he said, stressing that the decision had to be taken in this way out of Jordan's commitments to worldwide conventions.
"We are holding contacts with Jordanian security and government officials in order to bring the incident to a close ASAP", he said in a statement.

The holy site is known to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary and Jews as the Temple Mount. He stabbed and killed three of the family members while they were celebrating the beginning of Shabbat. Yosef Solomon, 70, and his son, Elad, and daughter, Chaya, died in the attack.
Argaman reportedly reconstructed the attack with the Jordanians and produced evidence that the attacker - Mohammed Zakaria al-Jawawdeh, 17 - had a record of violent behavior, which cleared away any remaining doubts that the guard's account was true.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he spoke to the guard and assured him that Israel has experience in dealing with such a situation and would bring him home. "There's desire from both countries to solve this crisis", a senior Israeli official said.
Meanwhile, four Palestinians were killed in ongoing demonstrations against Israeli security forces Friday and Saturday. It has always been a flashpoint of anti-Israeli protests at times of turmoil in the Palestinian territories.
