Several Assassin's Creed: Origins Details Confirmed By New Leak

Assassin's Creed Origins Release Date Leaked Xbox Scorpio Frame Rate Better than PC Version Report

Assassin's Creed Origins is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and PC on October 27.

How are you liking Xbox One X and Assassin's Creed?

It seems pretty legit as the image above matches the leaked pre-order card for the game's Gold Edition that confirmed the Egypt setting.

The magazine spread details that development was looked after by the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag team after that game was done and dusted. Enemies can drop weapons and gear of different rarities, all with corresponding colors (blue is rare, purple is more rare, etc.).

The game's world runs from the Mediterranean Sea to the tombs of Giza, but will mostly take place in the cities of Memphis and Alexandria.

Ubisoft has announced a new Assassin's Creed title for this fiscal year but has yet to say a word about any leaked information. Your character earns experience points and can level up, which unlocks new abilities in a skill tree.

It was only last month when we saw our first glimpse of the next Assassin's Creed game.

A revamped narrative promises freedom for players to choose and complete quests at their own pace. As we got to see in the two clips, they've added some interesting tweaks to gameplay.

As rumors suggested, Origins takes place in Egypt and shows the start of the Assassin's Brotherhood, one of the mainstays throughout the series.

In a short on-stage gameplay demo, "Assassin's Creed: Origins" looks to be much in the same vein as previous games in the franchise.

Origins is the first game in the Assassin's Creed franchise since 2015, with the once-annualised series taking a break after mediocre sales of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
