Mysterious Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino Expected in April 2017

Since the Unicorn Frappuccino will only be available until Sunday, April 23, we found a handful of other tasty tie-dyed eats that will satisfy your unicorn cravings.

Are you excited to try Starbucks' new Unicorn Frappuccino?

At least now I have an idea of what a unicorn tastes like. It was made clear by the stares and judgemental eyes as I strutted out of there.

I grab my double dose of unicorn and a couple straws and head home to experience this madness in privacy.

As if that wasn't magical enough, the drink changes colours AND flavours!

I feel cavities forming just looking at it. Maybe next time, Starbuck geniuses. If you're going to drink a unicorn, be prepared to run like one to burn it off. Wrong again, impatient, coffee consumer.

The pretty pink, blue and purple drink tastes the way I believe a unicorn would taste.

They both seemed pleasantly surprised by the limited edition drink and said it was not what they expected.

It does not contain any coffee.

Kevin thought "it was better when you stir, because the tartness comes out". Gothamist staffer Dave Colon described the taste as "melted Italian ice", perhaps picking up on the mango flavor that was indeed evident. It was off-putting at first, but the drink hadn't taken its form yet.

In addition, the almond-milk version of the Unicorn Frappuccino only has 34 grams of sugar. The more it's stirred, the more the Unicorn Frappuccino will apparently morph into tart, pink beverage.

But it doesn't end there, once your tongue becomes accustomed to the sweet, mango taste, the Unicorn Frappucino changes the game. I'm already feeling bad for baristas everywhere who have to add syrup, drizzle, whipped cream, and powder toppings to the regular frappuccino.
